Here's wishing everyone a safe and happy weekend - a little late but . . . .
Harry and I are having a quiet weekend at home watching racing and enjoying the kids visits. We stay pretty close to home these days.
Tomorrow Harry will grill pork and chicken for our gathering day and other dishes will happen - my DIL, Mary, is bringing some sides, etc. I'll pickup ice cream and other goodies to make ice cream sundaes for the boys and anyone else who wants one.
I had a wonderful dinner this evening. Harry made stuffed mushrooms as an appetiser and Lobster and Asparagus Coquilles as a main dish. It was a delicious meal and now we're getting ready to watch the NASCAR race. I'm one happy old woman.
No more radiation until Tuesday and plenty of time to chill and/or snooze. I'm lovin' it!!

what a dinner too. what was the occasion? sounds delicious. can i borrow harry ? does he deliver? -- lobster, i mean. :))
i don't think i remember the last time i had lobster. usually that means it's time!!
our plans for tomorrow are fried calamari, and sashimi (seared), -- first time home made. wish us luck on that . it could be a nightmare.
i may go get a london broil or some type of meat to go with it. one pound of each of those just seems kind of appetizer-ish. but i don't know. the fish looks like soulman could eat it all and still want more...but then, he may -- cuz i'm not much into the raw fish thing.
anyhow--- hope you enjoy your family tomorrow...

Sounds like a great weekend. Wish I could stop in for a visit and have some of that ice cream! :-)

btw-- no luck today with the jewelry thing. bummer. but that's alright. it's prolly sold by now, and melted down to nuthin. i heard someone say gold is up to 1000.00 an ounce now. i know aint nuthin left of my stuff. :((
