Tomorrow Is The Day!!!!

Tomorrow is our big day. Both Buddy and Sarah are so excited. Harry described their excitement as being the same as six-year-olds on Christmas Eve. Buddy agreed. Harry and I are six-year-olds, too. As is Sarah's practice everything is planned to the last detail. She is scheduled to go into surgery prep at 7 AM; Buddy will be in the room for the birth then go with the baby to the nursery; a friend of Sarah's who is a nurse at the hospital will be with her from the time Buddy leaves surgery for the nursery until Sarah is out of recovery and taken to their room. Sarah's parents and Harry and I will just stand around and grin and wait until someone remembers we're there.

Brad, this is for you: The Seattle Aquarium is down at Pier 59 on the waterfront. It has a nice pacific reef set up as well as some other awesome exhibits. We were there in 2001 so it's been a while but I'm sure it's even better now.

Everyone, I'll be back when I can. Think happy thoughts for us and say a little prayer for Sarah and our new grandson.

Ohhh....how exciting. My thoughts will be with you all day tomorrow.
Also, your tanks are beautiful. I have always wanted a tropical fish tank but I know how much work it is and I guess I'm too lazy. I feel so peaceful watching them though.
Yes, I did work for twp. government. I was a police and fire dispatcher for 13 years (LOTS OF STRESS) then transferred to be Administrative Secretary for the Chief and Lieutenants. I worked there for 25 years and took a full retirement. I was off work for about 7 years when they called me back to help out, which I did for the summer and then went to work 2 days a week in the supervisor's office (twp. gov't, not police) as a clerical assistant. I enjoy that. Its just enough to keep the brain from rusting and not near the stress the police dept. has.
We will have to compare notes someday as I know your job must have been mega stressful too.
Thanks for visiting me, Mary.

Congrats on the new grandson. You all must be exhausted.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't been there since I was a kid. It's a pity we forget what is right nearby sometimes.
