Swim Party

Any day that's swim party day is a day Nana posts pics and very few words. I'll just say that a good time was had by all. Tomorrow (Saturday) in a reef club meeting so another busy day.

Ladies first: Emma Mae, a motorcycle float, a big smile and big brother, Grant, in the background.

Grant takes a ride on the motorcycle.

Jesse explores the possibilities in an unfamiliar pool.

James welcomes Mommy to the pool. . my little gentleman.
Nana and Grandma watched from the sidelines - in the sun, I might add. Papa watched until everyone was wet then he went back to the air conditioning.

Now you know all about my day. How was yours? Hope all is going well for you.

What a great time you all must have had! I want to go swimming so bad...why must it be so traumatic for us adults who have to put on the dreaded swimsuit...

Your kiddos are all beautiful. But you already knew that.

Have a great weekend.

They are so sweet that it brings a lump to my throat, and I don't even know them. I guess I just pick up on the pride and absolute joy that you have with them.

Looks like a wonderful time was had by all. I have to be a granny vicariously through you, ya know.:)

No, the pool isn't ours. It's next door but we have an open invitation to use it at will. Shirley has been my best friend since 1980 and we have faced a lot of life's punches together. Our children have been friends since they were little tykes. Jesse and Emma Mae are great buddies which makes everyone happy.

I'm seriously thinking of having a lap pool installed. The kids would enjoy it and I'd have room to really swim.
