Time passes by and I find that I've neglected blogging. I have read and commented some but not a lot. I haven't forgotten any of you - I've just been really busy.
There's not much to write about. This week I have just been taking care of chores - not as many as I'd like have been done. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Do I buy a large plastic tub to house all my cake decorating "stuff" and store it in the storage room or return it to the pantry and cabinets when the October/November cake decorating is done? How can I best store needle work "stuff" that isn't currently being used - another plastic tub in the storage room? What about my art "stuff" (oils, acrylics, brushes, easel)? I want to paint this winter so I want it kept close. I repeat, decisions, decisions, decisions. At least my plants are cleaned up and in their winter homes in the sunroom.
The two older grandsons celebrated their 5th and 6th birthdays this month. They are no longer babies. The youngest grandson is growing and thriving. We are really looking forward to having our granddaughter and her parents here for Thanksgiving. Ricky, my nephew, will also be here. I can hardly wait for it all to begin happening. My panic over the masterbath has been laid to rest. They'll all love me even if some things here are in disrepair. . . clean and working but ugly
We had a freeze last night and tonight promises to be a repeat performance. Old man winter seems to have his eye on us. For my part, I hope we do have a significant freeze this winter to kill some of the insect larvae. A few relatively warm winters has left us with lots of creepy crawlies in the yard. I don't spray poisons so I mostly have to depend on the winters for natural control.
Do you have plans to be with family at Thanksgiving? I hope you do and that you are warmed by love and peace. We still have a few days to make plans so if you haven't why not start now?

I don't really know about my Tgiving plans now, things have always centered around my mom, and I was hosting dinner for everyone this year. I hope that does not change but right now I don't know.
I want to thank you for your very kind words, you are pretty awesome, just so you know.
Hugs. :)
My husband will go around deliving Meals on Wheels with me on Thanksgiving.
I'll make a little turkey just for the two of us in the evening.
I have the same problem as you about not knowing what to do with stuff. That's what happens when you like to do a lot of different things. :-)
I was just lying in bed this morning thinking about the menu. Ha!
I love Thanksgiving. We always go to my cousins, and we're a huge group...close to 40. We love to be together. And the food...!
I'm not sure what we will do Thanksgiving. Past couple of years we have gone to my niece's, but her husband decided he didn't like marriage the end of July, so we kinda want to do something different for her sake this year. Don't know what that will look like yet. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, a time to reflect the goodness of God and what he has done for us.
hiya my LBF!!!
long time no see---
happy to hear you are chillin on the bathroom issue etc.some things, ya just can't change right?
as for our tday? no tellin. todays answer? i can't travel, or stand up... (for more than like five minutes).. so both are out of the question.
i had been thinking we would go to mommasons for t-day-- but that's 12 hours in the car-- not. then my sis invited us, and as much as i /we would love to see them and the boys-- it's only like 6 hours-- at this point-- i can't see that happening either.
plus---- a child in rehab/community service thru christmas? well.. kinda puts a damper on things.
so it's all up in the air right now.
i hope you have a great one tho!
and- i saw pix of your place, you seem pretty organized--i'm sure you can find a place to put your stuff in an easily accessible
place , label it, and just grab it when or if you need it.
anyhow-- happy day today-
LBS
